SUMMARY:Implementing ATEX and DSEAR Safety at Craft Scale Distilleries
DESCRIPTION:Gin Guild members are invited to join the CIBD Southern Section at The Sipsmith Distillery for an event exploring how ATEX and DSEAR requirements can be implemented effectively in craft-scale distilleries. \nThis event will include talks\, an expert Q&A panel and a guided technical tour of Sipsmith Distillery\, giving attendees the opportunity to learn from experienced industry professionals and see safety apparatus and management systems in action. \nAgenda \nIntroduction to DSEAR and related legislation\n\n\n\nSipsmith’s Journey to Beam Suntory global compliance standards: Hazardous Area Classification\, HAZOP and action tracking – Oliver Kitson\nATEX Equipment regulations and safety management responsibilities including RAMS\, PTW and LOTO – Nik Fordham\n\n\n\n\nQ&A Panel hosted by Francesco Orlando\nAttendees are welcome to submit questions in advance during the registration process\, or later via the survey link included in the confirmation email.
